Hicks Thomas Honored with Six Partners Named to Best Lawyers in America
HOUSTON – Hicks Thomas partners John Thomas, Robin Harrison, Paul Mitchell, Jay Old and Allen Rustay have earned recognition for their commercial litigation work in the 2020 Best Lawyers in America guide. Partner Stephen Barrick was recognized for his appellate practice.
In addition to their commercial litigation honors, Mr. Thomas was recognized for his IP litigation work, and Mr. Harrison was selected for oil & gas law. This marks the first appearance in Best Lawyers for Messrs. Barrick, Old and Rustay. The peer-review guide lists no more than 4 percent of the nation’s practicing lawyers.
Honorees are chosen based on nominations and peer review from other lawyers who share the same practice areas in the same geographical regions. Nominees are then reviewed by the publication’s research team for final selection. For the full listing, visit https://www.bestlawyers.com/America.
