Hicks Thomas Attorneys Colin Watterson And Allison Fisher Earn 2024 Super Lawyers Texas Rising Stars Honors

By Hicks Thomas LLP

Hicks Thomas is pleased to announce that partner Colin Watterson and senior counsel Allison Fisher have been named to Super Lawyers’ 2024 list of Texas Rising Stars. The attorneys are among the 2.5% of eligible lawyers in the state to receive the award.

“Colin and Allison are incredible attorneys. Their hard work and contributions have had a positive impact on our clients and our firm,” said Hicks Thomas partner John B. Thomas. “I am glad our peers and clients agree and have recognized them again this year.”

Mr. Watterson, who handles energyreal estate, and technology cases, was named to the Rising Stars listing for a second year for business litigation representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He was also named to the 2024 list of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch and the latest edition of Benchmark Litigation’s 40 & Under.

Honored for the third consecutive year, Ms. Fisher was recognized for her work in civil litigation defense. She handles cases involving insurance, healthcare, business, and environmental law and successfully defended a dry-cleaning detergent and process additive manufacturer against product liability, nuisance, negligence, and personal injury claims.

Texas Rising Stars honorees are attorneys 40 years or younger or who have been in practice for 10 years or less. Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters, selects honorees using editorial research, client feedback, and peer review.

The 2024 Texas Rising Stars list will appear in Super Lawyers magazine and at www.superlawyers.com.
