Six Hicks Thomas Attorneys Named to Lawdragon List of Nation’s Top Energy Lawyers

Hicks Thomas LLP is pleased to announce the selection of partners Courtney ErvinRobin L. HarrisonGregg LaswellPaul L. Mitchell and Allen Rustay and senior counsel Katherine Kunz to Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Energy Lawyers for 2024.

The annual Energy 500 list recognizes top performers in what it says “may be the hottest practice area in the legal profession these days, rounding up lawyers expert in sustainable finance and oil company M&A, and handling energy disputes for everything from toxic torts to regulatory failings.”

“Houston is known as the energy capital of the world – energy and oil and gas disputes and litigation are a big and important part of what we do,” said Hicks Thomas partner Robin Harrison. “To be included in such an incredible list is really an honor.”

Each attorney was recognized for excellence in a particular practice area by Lawdragon. Ms. Ervin and Ms. Kunz were honored for energy litigation, Mr. Laswell and Mr. Rustay for energy, oil and gas litigation, Mr. Harrison for oil and gas litigation and Mr. Mitchell for energy disputes and litigation.

Recognition on Lawdragon’s Energy Lawyers list comes on the heels of impressive representation by Hicks Thomas partners on Lawdragon’s Green 500 list and Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Lawyers in America.
