12 partners honored for excellence in business and general litigation
Hicks Thomas LLP is pleased to announce that 12 firm partners have been selected for the 2026 edition of Texas Super Lawyers. This annual ranking recognizes an elite group representing no more than 5% of practicing attorneys in the state.
Honorees this year include partners John B. Thomas, J. Stephen Barrick, John J. Deis, Courtney E. Ervin, Robin L. Harrison, Stewart E. Hoffer, Gregg C. Laswell, Stephen M. Loftin, Paul L. Mitchell, Brian C. Pidcock and Allen H. Rustay, all recognized for excellence in business litigation, and John B. Shely, who was honored for general litigation.
Additionally, D. Ryan Cordell, Jr. was named to the Texas Rising Stars list, a distinction reserved for the top 2.5% of attorneys in the state who are under the age of 40 or have been in practice for fewer than 10 years. Mr. Cordell was recognized for his work in civil litigation defense.
