Hicks Thomas LLP is proud to announce that two of our lawyers, senior counsel Greg Koush and associate Abbie Sprague, were selected to the exclusive Texas Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ list of 2017.
This marks the fifth consecutive year Mr. Koush was chosen for his business litigation work. Mr. Koush has extensive experience in representing clients in all stages of litigation. He also focuses on employment law, oil and gas matters, securities, construction and environmental litigation. Mr. Koush earned his B.A. from Georgetown University, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2000, and later earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2007.
Ms. Sprague joined Hicks Thomas LLP in 2016, representing clients in a wide variety of complex commercial and business litigation, real estate disputes, and bankruptcy proceedings. She is skilled in assisting clients throughout all stages of federal and state court litigation. Ms. Sprague received her B.A. from Texas Tech University in 2006 and later earned her J.D. from the University of Houston of Law Center in 2010.
To be selected to this illustrious list, Super Lawyers® uses a patented multiphase process, based on peer nominations and evaluations, independent research, and 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Lawyers are selected on a state-by-state basis and only 2.5% of eligible candidates are selected within the state for the Rising Stars℠ list.
