Hicks Thomas Grows Firm with Addition of Attorneys Chris Richart and Mariana Jantz

Hicks Thomas LLP is pleased to announce it is strengthening its team of litigators with the addition of attorneys Chris Richart and Mariana Jantz.
Mr. Richart joins the firm as senior counsel based in the firm’s Houston office and Ms. Jantz as associate attorney based in both Houston and Beaumont.

Mr. Richart has 20 years of experience representing diverse groups of clients, including Fortune 500 companies in the software and technology industry. He specializes in appellate, business, trade secrets and employment litigation. He has also represented engineering firms during mass action suits involving weather-related incidents. Mr. Richart received his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
Prior to joining Hicks Thomas, Ms. Jantz completed clerkships for U.S. Circuit Judge Ralph R. Erickson on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and U.S. District Judge Michael J. Truncale of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Her experience also includes work in the litigation department of an international law firm in New York. Ms. Jantz graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center.
