Hicks Thomas Attorneys Recognized as Texas Rising Stars

By Hicks Thomas LLP

(HOUSTON) – Three attorneys from Houston’s Hicks Thomas & Lilienstern, LLP, have been selected to the second annual listing of Texas Rising Stars.

Rising Stars are recognized as elite Texas lawyers age 40 or younger, as well as those who have been practicing law 10 years or less.

Firm associates John J. Deis, Andrew K. Meade and Matthew C. Rawlinson earned slots on this year’s list based on their commercial litigation work. This is the second time Mr. Deis and Mr. Rawlinson have been named Rising Stars.

Rising Star selections are based on nominations from fellow attorneys who previously were honored in the prestigious Texas Super Lawyers list. Only 2.5 percent of eligible Texas attorneys were selected as Rising Stars.

“We have always taken pride in hiring only talented young attorneys who are commitment to our clients,” said John B. Thomas, name partner at Hicks Thomas & Lilienstern. “Having three Rising Stars at our firm is a well-deserved honor that was made possible only through the excellent work of these three attorneys.”

Texas Rising Stars appears in the July issue of Texas Monthly magazine and in Texas Rising Stars magazine, a publication co-produced by the publishers of Texas Monthly magazine and Law & Politics Media, Inc.

Hicks Thomas & Lilienstern, LLP represents plaintiffs and defendants in courtrooms across the country. Their record of success has earned them the reputation as one of the premier litigation boutiques in Texas.
