Houston’s Hicks Thomas Home to Three Attorneys Featured in 2011 Texas Super Lawyers List

By Hicks Thomas LLP

HOUSTON – Three attorneys from the Houston office of Hicks Thomas LLP have earned recognition among the best lawyers in the state in the 2011 Texas Super Lawyers list.

Firm partners Taylor M. Hicks Jr., John B. Thomas and Stephen M. Loftin are recognized on the list of Texas’ best lawyers based on their work in business litigation for clients in a diverse range of industries.

Mr. Hicks and Mr. Thomas have been featured among the state’s premier lawyers on the Texas Super Lawyers list each year since it first was published in 2003. Mr. Loftin has earned the distinction seven times.

To compile the annual Texas Super Lawyers edition, researchers with Thomson Reuters’ legal division solicit nominations from attorneys across the state. A blue-ribbon panel of lawyers assists the publication’s researchers with final selections, and the honor is awarded to fewer than 5 percent of all Texas attorneys each year.

The 2011 Texas Super Lawyers list appears in the October issues of Texas Monthly and Texas Super Lawyers magazines.
