Houston Attorney Allen Rustay Highlighted on Texas Rising Stars Listing

By Hicks Thomas LLP

HOUSTON — The Houston-based law firm Hicks Thomas is proud to announce that partner Allen Rustay once again has earned a spot on the annual Texas Rising Stars listing.

The 2011 Texas Rising Stars listing features the state’s top young attorneys, and appears in the April issues of Texas Monthly and Texas Rising Stars magazines.

To compile the latest Texas Rising Stars edition, researchers with Thomson Reuters’ legal division solicited nominations from lawyers across Texas, asking them to name the state’s top attorneys age 40 or younger and those who have been practicing law fewer than 10 years. Less than than 2.5 percent of all eligible lawyers earned the Texas Rising Stars distinction.

Recognized for his work in business litigation, Mr. Rustay has earned a spot among the state’s top up-and-coming attorneys each of the past eight years.

Mr. Rustay represents clients in energy, oil and gas, commercial, insurance and personal injury matters. A graduate of Baylor Law School, he earned his undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Va.

Founded in 1997, Hicks Thomas LLP is a premier litigation firm representing plaintiffs and defendants across the nation. With offices in Houston and Sacramento, the firm provides in-depth experience in cases involving oil and gas, environmental, toxic tort, products liability, corporate governance, securities, banking, insurance coverage, transportation, trade secrets and business litigation.
