About D. Ryan Cordell, Jr.

Mr. Cordell has experience handling a variety of complex commercial litigation matters including contract disputes, tortious business conduct, trade secret misappropriation, and infringement of various other types of intellectual property. Mr. Cordell also has experience in mass torts and personal injury litigation.

At Tulane University Law School, Mr. Cordell served as the Senior Managing Editor of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal, and as a justice on the Tulane Honor Board. Mr. Cordell graduated cum laude, with a certificate in Environmental Law.

Mr. Cordell joined Hicks Thomas in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cordell practiced at an intellectual property and commercial litigation boutique in Houston.
