Representative Cases/Clients:
- Allied Bank v. Duerr-Dealy. Counsel for bank in dispute over security interests; obtained judgment for bank in case of first impression alleging that wastewater capacity reservation was security for obligation to bank.
- U.S. Liquids v. National Union Insurance. Defense counsel for waste management company in coverage dispute with insurer over claims in nationwide securities class action. Argued appeal of first impression regarding scope of pollution exclusion coverage clause before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
- Grocers Supply, Inc. v. Powell. Counsel for product distributor. Obtained conditional writ of mandamus from Texas Court of Appeals directing trial court to hear company's claim.
- A.G. Services, Inc. v. Peat, Marwick, Mitchell Co. Represented client in malicious prosecution claim brought against it by accounting firm. Obtained judgment disposing of the claim and obtained affirmation of that judgment on appeal.
