Areas of Specialty: General civil litigation, with extensive experience in product liability and mass torts.
Representative Cases/Clients:
- Rezulin Pharmaceutical Litigation. Counsel for plaintiffs in several personal injury and wrongful death cases arising out of the plaintiffs' use of Rezulin.
- Oil & Gas Litigation. Conducted extensive research and appellate briefing, including legislative history, on behalf of several clients.
- Asbestos Products Liability Litigation. Ongoing representation of multiple asbestos defendants, including all phases of litigation involving hundreds of Mesothelioma plaintiffs and asbestosis.
- Personal Injury Litigation. Lead counsel in personal injury defense of business and individuals involved in a boating accident that resulted in serious personal injury. Conducted extensive pretrial work and settlement negotiations culminating in favorable settlement.
Accomplishments/Honors: Selected as one of Texas' “Rising Stars” in Texas Monthly magazine and Texas Rising Stars magazine (2005). U.S. Army National Guard (1994-2001) (Airborne LRS (D)).
