Representative Case/Clients:
- Ponder v. Rocky Mountain Resources.
Obtained summary judgment dismissing plaintiff's claims of fraud,
conspiracy, and breach of contract against three defendants arising out
of oil and gas prospects in Colorado.
- Anadarko Energy Services v. Mountain Energy.
Successfully defended Anadarko against bankruptcy trustee's claims of
partnership. Simultaneously prosecuted claims against former owners of
bankrupt entity for breach of contract and misappropriation of funds.
- Construction Supervisors Inc. v. Bobinchuck.
Lead trial counsel for owner of a construction company defending
against breach of promissory note with claims of usury. After
arbitration, found no liability.
- R.R. Street & Co., Inc. v. Economy Controls Corporation.
Lead counsel in prosecution of patent infringement claim on behalf of
dry-cleaning equipment manufacturer against infringer. Concluded
favorable settlement.
- Exxon Corp. v. King Ranch, Inc. Defended
King Ranch in dispute regarding a lessee's right of access to the
Ranch. After extensive discovery and prevailing in a venue dispute,
concluded favorable settlement.
- Occidental Permian Manager, L.L.C U. BP American Production CO.
Arbitrated dispute regarding ownership of oil and gas "call" rights in
The Permian Basin. Obtained ruling awarding call rights to Occidental.
